My name is Jonathan Brady. I'm probably better known as "jb" as that's how I usually sign my forum posts and emails.
I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. I lived in Charlotte until I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I then moved down to Central Florida to be close to my recently transplanted parents, then later to Orlando for almost 8 years and I'm now living in Sarasota, FL.
In January of 2007, I met my wife Stefanie and we have been together every day since. She makes each day better than the day before and she is by far, the funniest person I know. It doesn't hurt that she's incredibly gorgeous too! She keeps me laughing and entertained all the time. She was kind enough to marry me in November of 2010.
I've been keeping boas for about 10 years now and it has been one of the most intellectually, emotionally, and socially rewarding experiences of my life.
Boa Constrictor Constrictor ("BCC") from the Guyana Shield of South America (Eastern Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, and Northern Brazil) are my favorite boas. These BCC, specifically those from Guyana, are my passion.
I have taken the time to research, and verify, the lineage on all of my animals. Each BCC in my collection is traceable back to Guyana, and in most cases a specific area.
I've put forth considerable time, effort, and money to acquire the very best boa stock. These aren't "ordinary" animals. They're DEVIANT! Not deviant in the criminal sense, but deviant in the sense that they aren't the "norm". You don't see quality like this every day!
I look forward to my future with my boas and I hope to continue to improve the reputation of Guyanese BCC. I also hope to continue to make available very high quality animals so that you too may pursue your passion with boas from the Guyana Shield!
